The ground seemed to throw; it's self up and into the air. Rapidly falling back down, striking objects that couldn't or wouldn't move. Arms reached out, covering head, legs, anything that could be broken. Then, silence, the Earth had stopped falling from the smoked streaked sky. Another sharp whistling sound cut through the thick air and several more bombs fell upon the un-armed ground.

A large muscle man leapt up from the beaten bushes and began to break into a run. His green painted face slipping from its place, wet with sweat. He then went down, hands out stretched to help break the fall. His stomach
